Advocacy Committee

The Advocacy Committee’s goal is to position AFP as the "experts" in the field of fundraising in our area.  In addition, we strive to educate our chapter on issues of importance to fundraisers and philanthropists.  Furthermore, we monitor the issues AFP IHQ is lobbying for and report back to the Board and the general membership on those issues.  Moreover, the committee tries to offer ways our members can advocate for issues of importance to fundraising professionals and philanthropists here in the Lehigh Valley.
